Former federal legislator Senator Shehu Sani has charged Muhammadu Sanusi II, the newly reinstated Emir of Kano, with encouraging despotism in Kaduna State.
Shehu Sani said on Monday in a post on his official X Twitter that the Emir of Kano, who is now in the headlines due to the dispute surrounding his reinstatement, was perceived as a victim of tyranny in Kano but that he associated with and supported the same form of administration in Kaduna State.
He said, “Lamido supported, identified with, and encouraged our own tyranny in Kaduna State and fought against tyranny in Kano State, becoming a victim of tyranny in Kano State.”
