The Osun State Government has instructed contractors in charge of several ongoing projects around the state to guarantee excellent service delivery in order for the projects to stand the test of time.
Engr Basiru Bello, permanent secretary of the Ministry of Works and Transport, made this plead during an examination of current projects across the state,
In his conversation with the contractors, he pleaded with them to uphold the State Government’s faith in them by making sure that projects were completed in accordance with the plans.
Governor Ademola Adeleke, according to Bello, is a governor who solely wants what is best for the people of Osun State and will never consent to any action that will risk their interests.
He further stated-
“We have a Governor who will never compromise on quality, we have a Governor who wants only the best for his people and will not take anything less.
“I implore you all to carry out the various projects you are handling according to specifications; you must not compromise on standards, please. Osun people deserve the best, these are projects that are being done with taxpayers’ money.
“We want projects that will stand the test of time for our people. I urge you to handle these projects as your own projects please, we can’t afford to let residents of the State down”.
