The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved Nigerian citizenship for 385 applicants who meet the requirements. Interior Minister, Rauf Aregbesola made the announcement on Wednesday while briefing correspondents of the State House after the FEC meeting chaired by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
According to the Minister, applicants are granted the category of citizenship through naturalisation and registration.
He said-
“FEC today approved the granting of Nigerian citizenship by naturalisation to 317 applicants and Nigerian citizenship by registration to 68 applicants.
“The applicants got the nod after meeting all the constitutional and administrative requirements for the grant of Nigerian citizenship.”
