Flying Eagles Coach: Normal Game Against Brazil

The Flying Eagles’ head coach Ladan Bosso has told the media his team will play a regular game against Brazil in their final group match of the U-20 world cup.

Nigeria has qualified for the round of 16 after edging out Italy 2-0 in Mendoza, their second successive victory in Group D.

Nigeria will next face off with Brazil, with the duel winner set to finish top of the group and seeded better for the round of 16.

However, Coach Bosso says he will rotate his squad to give those who haven’t played a chance to prove themselves.

I am very happy with how the team played because we showed great character. I know we can go far in this competition because we have a very good team. We played as a team and that’s why we could beat a strong opponent like Italy. We will play a normal game with Brazil. I think they are beatable.

Coach Bosso insisted that his team would not be complacent even though they had won their first two games of the competition. The tactician still wants more from the group; their eyes are pegged on getting to the final.

The flying eagles will face Brazil on Saturday at the Estadio Ciudad de la Plata.
