Roberto Firmino will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, according to Sky Sports sources. The 31-year-old striker has decided not to renew his expiring contract and will part ways with the club in the summer after eight successful years.
It is said that Firmino personally informed manager Jurgen Klopp about his decision and had positive talks with him on Friday.
There have been ongoing discussions between the club and the Brazilian to see him extend his eight-year stay at Anfield beyond the summer but it now appears that he will seek a fresh start away from Merseyside.
