Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Front End Development Instructor to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development: Develop and update curriculum for front end development courses, ensuring it remains up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
- Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective lectures, hands-on workshops, and assignments to students, covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive design, and other relevant topics.
- Mentorship: Provide one-on-one guidance and support to students, helping them overcome challenges and improve their skills.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven professional experience as a Front End Developer.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Prior teaching or training experience is a plus.
- Passion for learning and a desire to help others succeed in the tech industry.
- Patience and empathy for students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Knowledge of configuration management as well as practical client-side building
- Excellent knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Mercuria SVN, and Git
- Ability to use essential graphical tools, such as Photoshop and GIMP, to make changes to visuals
- Excellent knowledge of cross-browser compatibility
- Good understanding of partial page updates, AJAX, and asynchronous request handling
- Knowledge of SEO principles leading to application adherence
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and with members of a dedicated team.
