Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Graphic Designer located in Lagos. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and designing graphics, logos, and branding materials. The Graphic Designer will also be responsible for typography and layout design. The day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop design solutions and presenting design concepts and recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Works on Adobe products: Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro
- Able to create videos on Adobe products that showcase the product: graphic content.
- Creative: thinks large scale, able to take a concept and develop it
- Efficient time management
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to creatively expand concepts
- Able to offer local content and approach to design needs
- Suggests new and creative ways to capture local attention through design
- Understanding of multimedia design, video creation, packaging, corporate identity, web design
- Establish and follow guidelines for each brand represented
- Social media content creation – approximately 2 posts per day and 2 videos per week
- Establish creative concepts and design to support the brand message
- Conceptualise, Design and implement content marketing strategies within a specified timeframe
- Coordinate with the social media specialist and marketing manager. for necessary monthly content
- Follow monthly plans and plan content at least 1 week ahead of time to submit for approval from the head of the department
- Design promotional material for physical events whenever needed
- Design Below the Line (BTL) material for the markets, and any needs for the outdoor marketing team when requested promptly
- Design the company portfolio according to brand guidelines
- Design web material to keep website content fresh and exciting always
- Provide photography and content creation support when needed for outdoor events (markets, promotional events) – will be specified at the time of the event.
