Manchester City winger, Jack Grealish, got emotional while giving an interview after winning the UEFA Champions League final against Inter Milan. On Saturday night in Istanbul, Turkey’s Ataturk Stadium, Grealish participated in Man City’s 1-0 victory over Inter Milan in the Champions League final match. Man City won the Champions League trophy for the first time thanks to a goal from Rodri in the 68th minute.
Grealish admitted to being terrible during the game but didn’t care because he won the Champions League when speaking to the media following the game (via talkSPORT).
The England international said,
“This is just what you work your whole life for. I’m so happy, man. I played so dead today I was awful, I don’t care, though.
“Honestly, to win the treble with this group of players and this staff, it is so special.”
“Anyone that knows me knows how much of a family person I am and how much I love football, and I don’t know, this is what I’ve worked for my whole life.”
