Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has killed 38 of the bandit lord Halilu Sububu and his foot troops in an operation.
On Thursday, NAF Special Forces in Zamfara state murdered Sububu and his men near the state’s Mayanchi region.
The operation was a part of an ongoing effort by the NAF and ground forces to “exploit intelligence and secure the area” after contact with the opponents, according to a statement made by Group Captain Kabiru Ali, Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations at NAF Headquarters.
According to the statement:
“NAF Special Forces of Operation HADARIN DAJI in the company of other ground troops initiated a follow-up exploitation mission after troops encountered terrorists in the vicinity of Mayanchi.
“During the mission, it was confirmed that 38 terrorists had been neutralized, with 4 bodies retrieved for verification.”
