Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has criticised former President Muhammadu Buhari for allegedly pleading not to be investigated by his successor.
Sani said that Buhari was averse to being investigated and blamed after doing the same to his predecessor.
On Thursday, the political activist announced this using his verified Twitter profile.
He recalls Buhari blaming the previous government for Nigeria’s problems throughout his tenure.
According to Sani-
“They arrogantly oppressed, dispossessed the poor and the innocent and without remorse seek divine blessings for their injustice and inequity.
“Buhari probed and blamed all the ills and vices of this country on the previous administrations but he is allergic to being probed and blamed.”
This comes amid reports that President Bola Tinubu informed Buhari that he will not investigate him or his close associates.
