REDUCES RISK OF INFECTIONS

Garlic has the ability to fight bacteria, viruses, fungi, and even parasites. It has antiviral properties effective against a broad range of bacteria.  Its anti-parasitic action helps fight major intestinal parasites

STRENGTHENS THE IMMUNE SYSTEM

Garlic supplements are known to boost the function of the immune system. It can help to fight cold and flu symptoms. It’s been shown to fight stress and fatigue. Even more, it can aid your adrenal glands’ response to stress.

IT COULD IMPROVE ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE

In ancient Greece, it was believed that garlic was given to athletes as a performance-enhancing substance.  It was traditionally used in ancient cultures to reduce fatigue and improve the work capacity of labourers. Subsequently, it may improve the physical performance of people with heart disease. But researchers say more research needs to be done to completely prove that.

Therefore, you should stop eating it 7 to 10 days before any surgery you have planned.
