Former President Goodluck Jonathan has conveyed his condolences on the death of Nestor Binabo, a former acting governor of Bayelsa State.
Jonathan expressed his condolences to Binabo’s family and the government of Bayelsa in a statement made accessible to journalists on Tuesday by his media assistant, Ikechukwu Eze.
He praised the dead as an experienced politician and patriot who made significant contributions to the state’s growth.
Jonathan stated “I condole with the Binabo family and the Government and people of Bayelsa State on the death of Nestor Binabo, former acting Governor of the State.
“He will be sorely missed by people from all walks of life, especially for his patriotism and service to humanity.”
Jonathan prayed that God would console the family of Binabo, who died a few days ago in an Abuja hospital after a long illness.
