On Sunday morning in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, angry youths shut down Radio Nigeria, Amuludun FM 99.1.

The teenagers invaded the station and attempted to take over the management of the programming, a source informed The PUNCH Metro.

It was discovered that the stern-looking security personnel were disarmed and driven from the station.

The radio station, which was based at J&P Bus-stop, Moniya in Ibadan, Akinyele Local Government Area of the state, was founded on October 10, 2007, and it started broadcasting in the Yoruba language on October 22, the same year, in its purest and most authentic form.
