Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo received an outpouring of love last night as friends, family, and colleagues gathered to celebrate her ahead of her daughter Priscilla’s wedding.
The event, dubbed a “Mother’s Night” party, was a surprise organized to honor Iyabo’s unwavering dedication to raising her two children. The celebration comes as Priscilla Ojo, Iyabo’s second child, prepares to marry her Tanzanian fiancé, Juma Jux, on April 17th. The joyous occasion brought together prominent figures in Nollywood, including Mercy Aigbe, Toyin Abraham, Kemi Korede, and Sikiratu Sindodo, who all came to show their support.
Iyabo Ojo’s dedication as a mother has not gone unnoticed. Just days ago, her close friend and colleague Toyin Abraham praised her for the sacrifices and efforts she made to instill strong values in her children. Toyin commended Iyabo for standing up for others and staying resilient despite public criticism.
In March 2024, Iyabo openly shared her wish for Priscilla to marry young and start a family. While Priscilla was initially evasive on the subject, her mother’s dream became a reality when the actress warmly welcomed Juma Jux into the family during his visit to Nigeria in August.
Earlier this year, Iyabo revealed in an interview her admiration for Priscilla’s fiancé, describing him as a family-oriented individual who shares the same values. She also expressed joy that her daughter is embarking on a journey she once wished for her.
