Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has publicly appreciated her close friend and colleague, Toyin Abraham, for her unwavering support during her daughter Priscilla’s wedding to Juma Jux in Tanzania.
Iyabo, who recently returned to Nigeria alongside Toyin, shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, acknowledging Toyin’s constant support. Referring to her as the “over sabi Aunty,” Iyabo expressed her gratitude for Toyin’s dedication throughout the wedding festivities.
She also thanked travel agency Wakanowdotcom for organizing a memorable trip, describing it as the ultimate travel experience.
“Massive gratitude to @wakanowdotcom for making JP2025 Part 1: Tanzania an unforgettable adventure! Special shoutouts to @toyin_abraham Sabi Aunty for your unwavering support!”
The actress used the opportunity to announce her upcoming project, Labake Olododo, the Warrior Lord, which premieres on March 23rd and hits cinemas on March 28th.
The relationship between Iyabo and Toyin has consistently been a source of admiration for their fans. Last week, Toyin publicly praised Iyabo for her resilience, noting how she overcame struggles to raise her children with the fear of God. Toyin further pledged her loyalty, promising to stand by Iyabo through thick and thin.
This isn’t the first time Toyin has shown her devotion to Iyabo. Last year, she penned an appreciation post, commending Iyabo for always supporting her, even during difficult times.
Iyabo and Toyin’s bond has even sparked controversies in the past. Iyabo previously defended Toyin during a public feud with Funke Akindele over the ratings of The Ghost and the Tout Too. Iyabo accused Funke of jealousy and negativity, confidently stating that Toyin’s movie would surpass Funke’s Omo Ghetto: The Saga.
