Jennifer Odonwodo, widow of late Nollywood actor Junior Pope, has publicly addressed an individual who defied her wishes by sharing photos of her children on social media.

Taking to Instagram, Jennifer explained that the individual had attended her husband’s funeral and used the event to create content. While she had no issue with that, she drew the line at him involving her children and herself in what she described as unnecessary drama.

She revealed that the person was specifically warned against posting anything about her or the kids but chose to ignore the caution. In her words:

“You were sternly warned not to post pictures of my kids and I on social media. You attended a funeral to create content, which is ok, but kindly exclude Jnr Pope’s kids and wife from your BS. You agreed you wouldn’t post, only to do otherwise.”

Jennifer further recounted how the individual captioned one of the forbidden posts with the words, “You feel loved meeting the family for the first time.” She made it clear that she would not tag him directly but was confident he would see her message.

Earlier in July, Jennifer marked what would have been her 11th wedding anniversary with Junior Pope, admitting she had mixed feelings. She expressed pain over his absence but comforted herself with the thought that he continues to live on in spirit.

Junior Pope tragically lost his life on April 8, 2024, when he and others drowned in the Anam River in Anambra State while returning from a movie set produced by Adanma Luke. His one-year remembrance was held on April 10, 2025, where Jennifer reflected on her journey of strength and grief since his passing.

In May, she also commemorated his 45th posthumous birthday by sharing a family video, mourning the fact that she could no longer surprise him with her usual gestures, but now celebrates him with memories and tears.
