The election of Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has been declared null and void by the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
Recall that on September 20, 2023, a three-judge bench led by Justice Oluyemi Akintan Osadebay fired Yusuf by ruling 165,663 of his votes illegal.
The ballots were declared unlawful by the court because they were not signed or stamped by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
