The Nigeria Customs Service, NSC, Kano Area Command, handed over 665 donkey skins to Dr Adamu Gano, the North-West Coordinator of the Nigeria Agricultural Quarantine Services.
The NCS on Thursday, also delivered 450 blocks of compressed Indian hemp to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency’s commander and 1,290 boxes of unregistered medical goods to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control’s state coordinator.
The event, which took place at the Customs House in Bompai, followed the organisations’ collaborative efforts to prevent illegal operations and safeguard public health.
Mr Dauda Chana, Comptroller of Customs, Kano State Command, stated at the ceremony that the collaborative efforts had continued to produce fruit.
Chana said:
“The successful coordination and cooperation between our organization and our esteemed partner agencies exemplify our shared dedication to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all citizens.
“We remain resolute in our commitment to eradicating illegal activities that pose a threat to our society.”
