The Department of State Security has detained Fildausi Ahamadu, 23, for allegedly making suicide threats against everyone she believed was to blame for Nasiru Gawuna, the All Progressives Congress candidate for governor of Kano State, winning the election petitions tribunal.
The arrest of the woman, who claimed in a widely shared viral video clip to be a candidate for the New Nigeria People’s Party and the governor, Abba Yusuf, was verified on Tuesday by a dependable DSS source who wished to remain anonymous.
Assaulting the lead judge in the tribunal, Fildausi was overheard on the clip threatening to hold the judge hostage with a bomb till she committed suicide wherever she saw her (the judge).
The woman also cautioned Gawuna, stating:
“You dare not indicate your location, otherwise, I don’t mind striking you with a bomb vest to commit suicide.”
The woman also attacked Vice President Kashim Shettima in the video, calling him insults and accusing him of being responsible for the NNPP’s legal woes in Kano State.
