Kano: Gov Abba Pays 55,000 Students’ NECO Fees

The immediate payment of examination fees for 55,000 Kano State students taking the National Examination Council (NECO)’s 2023 Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination has been authorized by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The governor explained that this is a key policy of his government’s strategy to reposition and provide the educational sector with the necessary attention.

In a statement released on Sunday by Sanusi Bature, his chief press secretary. The governor asked the students who would benefit to work hard for higher grades. And to return the favor in order to demonstrate the value of the significant investment. Made by the state government so as to continue their studies.

According to the governor, “As a concerned government, we must ensure that the progression of your educational pursuit is not stopped and I promptly approved the payment of the examination fees to 55,000 students across the state.

“You need to put in your best and remain committed so that you can come up with good results of the examination that can make the state and your family happy and proud of you”.
