Actress and singer Keke Palmer has taken legal action against her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Darius Jackson, filing a restraining order against him and seeking sole legal and physical custody of their 8-month-old son, Leodis “Leo.”
In court documents obtained by Page Six, Palmer detailed instances of alleged physical and emotional abuse, including destroying personal property, threats, and violent encounters. The actress claims that Jackson trespassed into her home without consent, physically attacked her, and stole her phone, providing security footage as evidence.
The court filings reveal a troubling pattern of behavior, with Palmer asserting that the abuse led to the final termination of their relationship in October 2023. Despite the breakup, she alleges that Jackson remains a threat, prompting her to seek legal protection for herself and their child.
Keke Palmer has also requested that Jackson complete a 52-week batterer intervention program as part of the legal proceedings.
In a heartfelt statement, Palmer emphasized the importance of ensuring a safe environment for their son, Leo. She expressed concern over Jackson’s alleged escalating volatility and emphasized that ending the relationship has not put an end to the perceived threats and danger.
After filing the restraining order, Jackson posted a photo on social media with Leo, captioned,
I love you, son. See you soon.”
This legal move follows a history of public scrutiny and controversy surrounding the couple’s relationship. In August, Jackson publicly criticized Palmer for her choice of attire at an Usher concert. Despite the publicized conflicts, the couple continued to make joint appearances, raising questions from fans.
