Keke Palmer Welcomes First Child with Boyfriend Darius Jackson.

Keke Palmer, the Emmy Award-winning actress, has taken to Instagram to announce the birth of her first child with her boyfriend, Darius Jackson. The 29-year-old actress shared her first photo as a mother joyfully. She looked so serene as she held her little boy at the hospital while Darius gazed lovingly at their infant son.

In her Instagram slideshow, Palmer raved about her first 48 hours of parenthood. She gave fans a glimpse of her bundle of joy wrapped up in a light grey patterned onesie and a white beanie.

The slideshow also featured another snap of the little one sleeping next to a stuffed elephant in a green sweater. This is while a hilarious video showed the new parents jamming out in the car as they took their child home for the first time.

Palmer joked in the caption;

I’m not hiding the world from my son, I’m hiding my son from the world,” and pointed out that her son was “born during Black History Month” and has “a name to match.” The newborn’s name is Leodis Andrellton Jackson.

Palmer’s comment section was flooded with congratulatory messages from her fans and celebrity pals, including Storm Reid, Ashley Graham, and Big Sean.

The announcement came a month after Keke accidentally revealed her baby’s gender on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Keke Palmer first confirmed her pregnancy with boyfriend Darius Jackson while hosting Saturday Night Live in December 2022. She announced her pregnancy during her opening monologue, where she threw open her blazer to “set the record straight” and gave viewers a glimpse of her baby bump.

Darius confirmed he was the father by uploading an adorable snap of Keke cradling her baby bump with the simple caption, “2023,” and a red heart emoji.

Keke and Darius went public with their romance on Instagram in August 2021. Prior to her interview on SNL, fans speculated Palmer was having a girl after she tweeted that it;

“kills” her “when guys are disappointed that they are having a girl.” She went on to call baby girls “a blessing.”
