King Charles

King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla are all smiles as they make their way to Westminster Abbey for the historic first coronation in 70 years. The ceremony, which has a rich history dating back 1,000 years, marks a pivotal moment for the Royal Family as they balance ancient tradition with the modern era.

Amidst cheers and the ringing of Abbey’s bells, the royal couple entered the church to the sound of state trumpeters and a standing congregation. The two-hour service pared down from the one held for King Charles III’s mother in 1953, was a joyful occasion with Prince George, a future king, among the pages of honour.

Additionally, King Charles III waved and spoke to his grandson, Prince Harry and other members of the royal family arrived for the ceremony. The Duke of Sussex walked up the aisle alone, smiling at the crowd as he made his way to the front of the church.

The event was a grand spectacle, with Prince George carrying a corner of his grandfather’s trailing robes, while his siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, peered out of a car window. All in all, it was a historic day for the Royal Family and a momentous occasion for the people of the United Kingdom.
