Nollywood actor and filmmaker Lateef Adedimeji has warmed hearts with a sweet video of himself watching his wife, Mo Bimpe’s, new movie Between Us.
Sharing the moment on Instagram, Lateef revealed that he makes it a tradition to watch every one of her new releases on her YouTube channel, MOBIMPE TV. He described himself as her “number one critic and fan,” adding that he loves how she keeps improving with each project.
Between Us is a really great movie; you guys shouldn’t miss it,” he wrote, urging fans to support them by watching it and learning from the story.
This public display of support comes just weeks after Lateef celebrated his wife for breaking YouTube records. At the time, he said her success left him “glad beyond words” and encouraged fans to keep watching.
Lateef and Mo Bimpe have steadily built a reputation as one of Nollywood’s power couples, much like Mide Martins and Afeez Owo. While Lateef dominates cinemas and streaming platforms, Mo Bimpe has carved her own lane as a force on YouTube.
Their mutual support is evident in their careers. When Lateef’s debut film Lisabi earned 10 AMVCA nominations, Mo Bimpe shared a video of them worshipping in gratitude. She also openly praised him for his dedication and creativity in his roles, including his performance in Jagun Jagun, where he endured a broken leg on set.
Similarly, Lateef has credited Mo Bimpe for being his biggest motivator, revealing that her belief in him pushes him to work harder and aim higher. Together, they continue to inspire fans with their love, partnership, and individual successes in Nollywood.
