LOAN OFFICER AND MANAGER
Meet with loan applicants to identify their needs and collect information for loan applications.
Overview
Respected Solutions is a loan company that provides a fast and simple process for people to borrow and receive immediate funds using their car, luxury watch, and jewelry, in total privacy. We’ve been operating since 2019, and have financed loans with an accumulated sum upwards of hundreds of millions in Naira.
We are searching for an experienced and detail-oriented loan officer to join our growing institution. In this position, you will act as a liaison between applicants and our financial institution, helping qualified applicants obtain loans and set up payment plans. Your duties will include meeting with applicants, preparing loan proposals, and examining active loans.
- The ideal candidate must have worked or is currently with a bank or financial institution in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Meet with loan applicants to identify their needs and collect information for loan applications.
- Perform HR responsibilities in the absence of HR, like interviewing or selecting the best candidate for the company in various departments.
- Maintain constant communication with the CFO and CEO.
- Must ensure his workers are well dressed and grounded on office rules and regulations.
- Analyze active loan files regularly and recommend solutions to speed up the loan process.
- Complete loan contracts and teach clients about policies and regulations.
- Interview applicants to define financial eligibility and establish debt payment plans.
- Organize weekly meetings with the workers and marketers to enhance the company’s strength.
- Run the day-to-day business of the company and ensure there is progress in all departments under your supervision.
- Monitor and update account records.
- Submit loan applications promptly.
- Must have sound computer-related skills.
- Prepare detailed loan proposals.
- Reject loan applications and explain deficiencies to applicants.
- Respond to applicants’ questions and resolve any loan-related issues.
- Operate in compliance with laws and regulations.
Qualification
- Must know how to draft, analyze, and document loan contracts or related documents.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a similar field.
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a team leader in a related field.
- Solid understanding of local, state, and federal loan regulations.
- The manager must possess integrity, honesty, and leadership qualities.
- In-depth knowledge of computers and banking software.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer service-oriented with exceptional sales skills.
