Veteran Nollywood actor Bolaji Amusan, better known as Mr. Latin, has expressed his gratitude to his junior colleague, Yetunde Barnabas, for the Christmas gift she gave him.
The actor took to his Instagram page to share a photo of Yetunde, praising her for the kind gesture. In his post, Mr. Latin prayed for more financial blessings in her life and asked God to continue blessing her and her loved ones.
He wrote,
Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you for the Christmas gift. More money in your account. God bless you and all yours.”
Many of Mr. Latin’s followers took to the comment section to join him in appreciating Yetunde, with fans praying for her and praising her for the generous act.
Comments included,
God bless you for blessing our president,” and “God bless you the more,” showing the warmth and appreciation from Mr. Latin’s fanbase.
This thoughtful exchange is just one of many moments of kindness that Nollywood stars share with one another. Mr. Latin, who is also a respected figure in the TAMPAN (Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria), continues to influence the industry with his acts of generosity and leadership.
In recent months, Mr. Latin also made headlines when he publicly forgave actress Nkechi Blessing, who had knelt to apologize for past misunderstandings within the TAMPAN group. Mr. Latin accepted her apology and welcomed her back into the association, showcasing his ability to resolve conflicts amicably.
However, not all news surrounding Mr. Latin has been positive. Veteran actor Pariolodo had earlier called him out for not assisting him during a time of need, citing disappointment over Mr. Latin’s lack of support despite their long-standing relationship within the Nollywood industry.
Mr. Latin responded to these concerns by clarifying that the association had spent over N10 million on health challenges for some of its members. He noted that the actors who publicly beg for money on television are not part of TAMPAN, which limits the association’s ability to assist them.
Despite these challenges, Mr. Latin continues to maintain a prominent role in Nollywood, both as an actor and as an influential member of the industry.
