Temmie Ovwasa: I Don’t Believe There’s Hell Fire

Temmie Ovwasa, formerly known as YBNL Princess, a Nigerian musician, has stated that her stepfather assaulted her when she was a child. She was overjoyed that her “witchcraft” had caught up with him, and she enjoys it when her “demons are having fun.

On Tuesday, the self-proclaimed queer revealed this via her Twitter page.

She said the punishment her stepfather got was not karma but that “Awon iya mi Osoronga” did it.

“I’m the type of witch that always gets their pound of flesh, with a front-row ticket to watch your demise, I’ll even offer to foot your bills just for a closer view and I absolutely love it when my demons have fun,” Temmie added.

Temmie Ovwasa rose to prominence in 2015 after being announced as the first female signee of the YBNL record. She left the label in 2020 after a disagreement with the label’s boss, rapper Olamide.

The following year, she released ‘E be like say dem swear for me,’ Nigeria’s first openly gay record.
