Julian Nagelsmann has now withdrawn from the race to become the new Chelsea head coach as reported by Fabrizio Romano
The German coach is no longer available after multiple round of talks. Chelsea are still searching for their next manager after sacking Graham Potter last month.
Boehly and the rest of the Stamford Bridge hierarchy are conducting an exhaustive managerial search after sacking Graham Potter last month.
Pochettino, Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique were the early contenders for the job. Tottenham who are on the hunt for a permanent manager at the end of the season following the parting of ways with Antonio Conte, are also interested in Nagelsmann.
This could allow Spurs to swoop in and convince Nagelsmann that Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is the right destination for him.
Recent reports have it that Vincent Kompany is also being considered for the Chelsea job. Kompany has caught the eye with his ability to implement an attacking mindset at Turf Moor.
With Nagelsmann seemingly out of the picture, Luis Enrique and Pochettino are the top contenders for the job.
