In the midst of rising tensions within the Nigerian music industry, music producer Samuel Ogoanchuba, better known as Samklef, has once again come to the defense of Afrobeat sensation Wizkid.
This comes after Wizkid recently reposted one of Samklef’s tweets, prompting a wave of criticism and trolling aimed at the producer.
Samklef, undeterred by the backlash, took to social media to clap back at his detractors. Expressing his delight at Wizkid acknowledging him, Samklef rebuked those who doubted his ability to garner Wizkid’s attention, urging them to feel ashamed in light of recent events.
This defense of Wizkid is not new for Samklef, who has previously engaged in online altercations with other artists, notably Davido. Last year, tensions escalated between Samklef and Davido after Samklef posted a private video of Davido online. Since then, the relationship between the two has soured, adding another layer of complexity to the dynamics of the Nigerian music scene.
