Popular Nigerian rapper Olanrewaju Ogunmefun David, known professionally as Vector, has spoken out against Festus Keyamo. Festus is the Minister of State for Labour and Employment and a spokesman for the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council.

Keyamo had questioned the opposition Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) recent protests over the presidential election results. The PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, joined supporters in demonstrating at the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) headquarters on March 6, rejecting the declaration of Bola Tinubu as president-elect.

Keyamo wondered why the protest was necessary and asked if the PDP was also protesting areas where other parties had won. In response, Vector tweeted a question of his own – “Are you an idiot?

The rapper’s response has been met with mixed reactions on social media, with some people criticizing his choice of words while others praised him for speaking out against the government. Keyamo has not yet responded to the criticism.

The controversy has highlighted the ongoing tension surrounding Nigeria’s presidential election and the country’s political climate as a whole.
