Hours after extending an olive branch to those she may have hurt in the past, Nollywood star Nkechi Blessing Sunday has taken to Instagram to celebrate the people and brands who have stood by her over the years.
The actress, known for her curvaceous figure and vibrant personality, shared an appreciation post, highlighting the brands that have remained loyal to her despite her controversial past. She credited them for enabling her to “keep balling and living life like I didn’t lose anything.”
Nkechi also thanked her fan base, fondly referred to as her “fanmily,” for continuously supporting the brands she endorses and for their unwavering loyalty.
Massive shout-out to every single brand that stuck with me over the years; you are the reason I am still balling and living life like I didn’t lose anything,” she wrote, tagging brands such as @jomsslimmingproducts, @dorindaskinnaturals, and @deeutensilsng, among others. “Not forgetting the brands that paid me millions to create content, I see you all and appreciate you greatly.”
She concluded her message with warm wishes for her fans, saying, “To my wonderful FAN_MILLY, for taking out your hard-earned money to patronize every brand I bring to you, may your pockets never run dry.”
This heartfelt post comes shortly after Nkechi publicly apologised for past actions that may have hurt others. The actress admitted that her previously controversial lifestyle led to the loss of numerous endorsement deals, prompting her to embrace a more peaceful and reflective life.
Last year, Nkechi had taken a similar step by apologising to members of The Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN). She acknowledged her past missteps and expressed gratitude for God’s guidance and the lessons she has learned.
Her shift toward a more peaceful demeanor marks a significant transformation from 2021, a year when Nkechi and fellow actress Iyabo Ojo openly condemned the conduct of Baba Ijesha amidst allegations of child defilement. Their stance created tensions within TAMPAN, leading to public clashes with members such as Yomi Fabiyi and Lege Miami.
