Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has taken steps toward personal growth, days after offering a public apology to the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN).
She shared on Instagram that her focus is on “who [she] is becoming,” as she emphasized the importance of self-improvement and maintaining a peaceful state of mind. Nkechi noted, “I get up, do me, get my money, and mind my business—a blessing I don’t take for granted.”
Her positive shift has received widespread praise from fans, who admire her renewed outlook. One user commented, “Your glow and elegance is unmatched,” while others commended her modesty and authenticity.
Nkechi’s apology to TAMPAN was well received by many. At the recent Celebrities Entertainment Awards in Canada, she publicly apologized to TAMPAN’s president, Mr. Latin, ending a years-long rift that began in 2021.
The conflict had originated from Nkechi’s and Iyabo Ojo’s public criticism of actor Baba Ijesha, leading TAMPAN to issue a directive to its members against working with her. Nkechi acknowledged the impact of her actions and, in a show of humility, knelt as she sought forgiveness.
Adding to her achievements, Nkechi was recently recognized by the Mayor of Brampton, Ontario, Patrick Brown. The mayor awarded her a certificate of recognition for her contributions to entertainment, a moment she shared with gratitude on social media. In her post, Nkechi credited her success to her faith, describing her life as a testament to the guidance of a “living God.”
Weeks earlier, she shared a cryptic message hinting at a new chapter in her life, stating, “The best part of this chapter is I get to choose wisely.” Nkechi has declared this year her “money year” and plans to continue rising, focusing on positivity and self-betterment.
