Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo and her husband are facing a heartbreaking loss after their stores were destroyed in an unfortunate incident.
The actress shared the devastating news on Instagram, revealing that they lost two of their shops—her own, Body Gang Society, and her husband’s, BME Wines.
In her emotional post, Ogbodo described the pain of losing her businesses, which she had poured her heart, hard work, and years of prayers into building. She expressed deep sorrow, stating that watching old videos of her store has been a painful reminder of what they had lost.
Ogbodo’s message read:
Watching this Video, my heart is Bleeding and has been in Serious pain for months now. I Miss My Baby (shop). I Lost It All. My hard work, my Blood, My tears, Years of Prayers on building my Brand @bodygangsocietyy. I Lost it all in a twinkle of an eye. My 1st @ Abraham Adesanya Axis & my 2nd Shop @ Agungi all Gone. Even my Hubby’s Shop,@bme_wines, was affected too. We lost them all.”
She reflected on the overwhelming shock of the situation and admitted to being afraid to face her husband, aware of his own grief and the efforts he’s making to remain strong for her. Despite the agony, Ogbodo remains hopeful and determined to rebuild. “We will be Back Stronger, I promise! God Help Me.”
Last year, Yoruba actress Bimpe Akintunde experienced a similar setback when her radio station was severely damaged. Despite alerting the building owners, no action was taken until the equipment was destroyed. Thankfully, her husband and support from her community helped her recover.
