The Ondo State House of Assembly has commenced the process of removing the deputy governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
The State Assembly accused the controversial deputy governor of egregious misconduct while acting governor.
The Clerk of the House, Mr Benjamin Jaiyeola, was instructed at Wednesday’s plenary session to report the charges lodged against Aiyedatiwa.
The petition, which was signed by nine of the House’s 26 members, was read aloud at the plenary presided over by the Speaker, Mr Olamide Oladiji.
