Ademola Adeleke, Governor of Osun State, has re-emphasised his commitment to upgrading facilities in state-owned higher institutions so that the schools can perform their purpose.

Adeleke, who addressed the Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke, Alumni Reunion in London, United Kingdom, mentioned a slew of difficulties confronting the state’s educational institutions.

According to a statement issued on Sunday, the governor stated that having noticed a rise in demand for excellent education, he felt obligated to guarantee that state-owned higher education institutions were fully prepared to satisfy current needs.

The governor, who was represented by the Polytechnic’s Chairman of the Governing Council, Prince Diran Odeyemi, appealed for ex-students assistance and participation to further expand the facilities available for teaching and learning on the institution’s campus.

The Osun State governor said:

“In my capacity as the Executive Governor of Osun State, I am acutely aware of the challenges that our educational institutions face.

“The demand for quality education continues to rise, and it is our duty to ensure that our institutions are adequately equipped to meet these demands.

“I am committed to working tirelessly to enhance the infrastructure, faculty, and curriculum of OSCOTECH and other educational institutions in Osun State.”
