25 commissioners and three permanent secretaries were sworn in by Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued by his spokeswoman, Olawale Rasheed, the governor congratulated the new appointments and asked them to do their jobs professionally.
The governor urged the commissioners and other appointments to constantly listen to the people’s concerns and endeavour to address their varied problems.
Governor Adeleke cautioned them that their indiscipline would not be tolerated.
“Our team of commissioners is, therefore, a product of stakeholders’ choices. It is important to affirm that my preoccupation throughout the process was a merit-based pathway. This passion of mine for putting together qualified hands was reflected in the template the party applied throughout,” he added.
