Controversial Nigerian singer Portable is once again making headlines — this time over fresh drama with his fourth baby mama, Ashabi Simple, which quickly turned into yet another reconciliation.
Hours after calling her out online, the Zazzu Zeh crooner revealed that Ashabi had allegedly taken his name to an Alfa (Islamic cleric) for spiritual prayers. Portable claimed the actress wanted the cleric to make him love her more, but unknown to her, he had already “tied her down spiritually.”
“Ashabi came to beg me because she doesn’t want to lose me. Something told me to check her phone, and I saw she took my name to an Alfa so I can love her. She doesn’t know I was the one who even tied her down spiritually. Everyone should warn her to stop taking my name to an Alfa,” Portable wrote.
The singer also accused Ashabi of crushing on another man, saying she had asked the cleric to pray for that man too.
This outburst followed a leaked conversation where Portable blasted Ashabi for allegedly trying to ruin his marriage. He described her as “the mistake” he made in his life and accused her of chasing away one of his exes, Queen Dami.
Reacting, Ashabi dismissed his rants, saying it wasn’t the first time he had dragged her online. She urged the public to ignore the noise, adding that her relationship was beginning to make her look like a failure.
In another TikTok live session, Portable warned the actress to stop associating with “rich men” advertising on her page. He also revealed that Ashabi was planning a trip to South Africa and that all his efforts to stop her — including trying to get her pregnant — didn’t work.
However, in a surprising twist, Portable later promoted Ashabi’s South Africa trip on his Instagram page, hinting that the two had reconciled. He shared a flyer for her upcoming event scheduled for October 15, 2025, with the caption:
“Exciting moment with Ashabi Simple in S.A (Cape Town). Available for collaboration, meet & greet, and influencing. Shop luxury sunshades from Simple Wardrobe with free delivery within Cape Town.”
