Wayne Rooney, a legend at Manchester United, projected Arsenal would defeat Manchester City to win the Premier League. Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Liverpool, among others, will likely finish in the top four of the Premier League this year, according to Rooney.
The title race? Rooney told The Times-
“I wouldn’t expect anything unexpected from Manchester City.
“They may go on a fantastic run and still win it, but Arsenal is the favourite,” the commentator said. I don’t expect their collapse.
Rooney went on to say-
“The top four? Manchester United appeared to have a chance to contend for the Premier League title a few weeks ago. “I have no doubt that [Man United] will be among the top four.
So Manchester United will be present, but I have a hunch Liverpool might show up as well. “They are capable of running. Despite Eddie Howe’s fantastic work, I think Newcastle [United] is falling just a bit short.
