Royal Antwerp, the Belgian Pro League winners, congratulated Alhassan Yusuf as he made his 100th appearance for the team.
Yusuf started Antwerp’s 2-2 tie with KAA Gent on Sunday.
The Nigerian international played for 79 minutes in the exciting game.
“Centurion RAFC appearances for Alhassan Yusuf!,” says a brief post on the club’s official Twitter account.
The 23-year-old joins the Reds from Swedish club IFK Goteborg in 2021.
Yusuf won both the Belgian Pro League and the Belgian Cup with Antwerp last season.
The midfielder was a member of Nigeria’s silver-winning side in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
