Nigerian music producer Samklef has reignited his taunts directed at social media activist Very Dark Man following the latter’s release from detention.
The news of Very Dark Man’s freedom, initially reported by Kemi Filani and confirmed by social media activist Sowore, prompted Samklef to mock him over his physical appearance, noting his apparent weight loss.
In a social media post, Samklef sarcastically welcomed Very Dark Man back, humorously referring to him as a “newborn again” and encouraging him to share his experiences from the detention cell with the public. He humorously reminded Very Dark Man of the necessity to report to police stations regularly, hinting at ongoing legal obligations.
This isn’t the first time Samklef has targeted Very Dark Man. Previously, amidst rumours of Very Dark Man’s detention, Samklef had cautioned Davido, a friend of Very Dark Man, to refrain from involvement to avoid tarnishing his reputation. Samklef’s warning to Davido reflected his belief in allowing legal processes to unfold without external interference.
Furthermore, Samklef hinted at the involvement of prominent figures such as Tunde Ednut, Davido, Seun Kuti, and possibly Don Jazzy in advocating for Very Dark Man’s release.
