Six Terrorists’ Camps, Scores killed as Troops Raid Boko Haram

Nigerian military troops raided camps owned by six terrorists on the edge of the Sambisa forest in Borno state. They reportedly killed scores of Boko Haram members, as part of Operation Hadin Kai.

According to Lake Chad riot control expert, Zagazolla Makama, troops came from the 21st Task Force Bama Brigade. In alliance with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF), they were deployed to the Lake Chad enclave. He said the terrorists had been eliminated after conducting a devastating invasion. The unit had to successfully clear out a terrorist hideout in Bula Agaida; Bula Yaga; Bula Lambai; Kuluri; Bula Umar and New Church in Bama local government area of Borno State.

It was also noted that during the raid the army discovered and destroyed a large Boko Haram camp.

Troops were reported to have made contact with some terrorists during combat patrols, cleared the general area where they had been attacked and eliminated, and recovered gun trucks.
