Overview
We are seeking an experienced Storekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant experience in inventory management and storekeeping. The Storekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and issuance of items while maintaining accurate records. STORE OFFICER
Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure stock availability by monitoring stock levels and conducting regular stock counts.
- Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming materials, inspect them for damage or discrepancies, and accurately record received quantities.
- Storage and Organization: Properly store materials in designated locations within the warehouse to facilitate easy access and efficient operations.
- Issuance and Distribution: Fulfill internal requisitions and external orders promptly and accurately, ensuring that the correct materials are issued in the right quantities.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including receipts, issuances, returns, and adjustments, using appropriate documentation and systems.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all materials meet quality standards and specifications before acceptance and distribution.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and any discrepancies or issues encountered.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times. STORE OFFICER
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Education: BSc/HND in relevant field. STORE OFFICER
