Former Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ housemate, Tacha Akide, has responded to the backlash regarding her choice of outfit during a meeting with the Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, at the Police Command Headquarters in Ikeja.
In a recent Instagram post, Tacha revealed her visit aimed at discussing ways to enhance policing and the continued service of the Nigerian Police to the people. However, attention quickly shifted from the purpose of the meeting to criticism of her outfit, which some deemed too revealing.
Unfazed by the negative comments, Tacha addressed her critics with a confident response, saying, “You go cryyyyyy Taya.”
This incident echoes a recent social media storm involving actress Osas Ighodaro, who faced scrutiny for her choice of attire at a Barbados festival. The US-born ex-beauty queen shared pictures and videos from the event, showcasing a golden shorts and bra ensemble. Critics, particularly considering her role as a mother, accused her of promoting indecent dressing.
