Agbu Kefas, the governor of Taraba State, has sacked the caretaker committee Chairmen of the state’s 16 local government areas. The directive was issued just hours after he took office as the Taraba state governor.
Yusuf Sanda, his Chief Press Secretary, stated this in a statement released to reporters.
According to the statement, “ The dissolution took effect on the 29th of May 2023.
“The former CTC Chairmen have been directed by the Executive Governor to hand over all government property in their possession to the Head of Local Government Administration HOLGA of their respective Councils with immediate effect.”
