“The Flash” Screens at the Annual Convention of Theatre.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the long-awaited The Flash movie which has a release date of June 16, will screen for the first time in April at this year’s Annual Convention of Theatre Owners month.

The movie stars Ezra Miller stars as Barry Allen/The Flash;  Michael Keaton as Batman, Ben Affleck as a version of Batman; Viola Davis as Amanda Waller; and introduces Sasha Calle as  Supergirl.

Miller, who identifies as non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, has been at the centre of various controversies over the past year, which culminated in the actor apologising and, in a statement, revealing they were seeking help for mental health issues.

DC Studios boss, James Gunner stated that The Flash movie is indeed amazing, speaking;

It’s one of the best superhero movies I’ve ever seen. Andy Muschietti did an amazing job, and I’m really excited for everybody to see it.”

Gunner also confirmed that Muschietti has been in contact with him and DC Studios co-head Peter
Safran about helming new entries in the DCU.
