Eight permanent secretaries have been appointed to the Federal Civil Service by President Bola Tinubu.
The new appointees are expected to fill existing and impending vacancies in some states and geopolitical zones.

Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu (Abia State), Ndiomu Ebiogeh Philip (Bayelsa State), Anuma Ogbonnaya Nlia (Ebonyi State), Ogbodo Chinasa Nnam (Enugu State), Kalba Danjuma Usman (Gombe State), Usman Salihu Aminu (Kebbi State), Oyekunle Patience Nwakuso (Rivers State), and Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna State) were among the appointees, according to a statement released by Tinubu’s media aide, Bayo Onanuga.
According to the press release, it was President Tinubu’s second group of eight permanent secretaries, after those chosen in June from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Jigawa, Ondo, Zamfara, South East, and South-South.
According to Onanuga, the Office of the Head of the Federation’s Civil Service suggested that the new permanent secretaries be chosen through a rigorous selection process.
In the statement, President Tinubu called on the new permanent secretaries to serve the country with more dedication, devotion, and creativity.
