President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended Nigeria’s Super Falcons for their remarkable triumph at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, where they staged a stunning comeback to defeat Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses 3-2 in a thrilling final.
The victory, secured on Saturday night in Rabat, marks Nigeria’s 10th continental title, further cementing their dominance in African women’s football.
The match began with Morocco taking an early lead, as Ghizlane Chebbak and Sanna Mssoudy scored to put the hosts 2-0 up.
