President Bola Tinubu has signed into law the N28.7 trillion 2024 Budget.
The President signed the Appropriation Bill on Monday, in a short ceremony at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The event was attended by Senator Godswill Akpabio, President of the Senate, and Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, Speaker of the House of Representatives.
Wale Edun, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Atiku Bagudu, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Nuhu Ribadu, National Security Adviser (NSA), the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, and Chairman of the Senate Appropriation Committee, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, were also present.
Tinubu signed the budget shortly after arriving in Abuja from Lagos, where he had spent the previous week vacationing.
