Sharing her experience in an emotional Instagram post, Toyin detailed the challenges and lessons from the ordeal, expressing gratitude for her daughter’s recovery.
Toyin Lawani shared a heartfelt video of her daughter in the hospital, revealing that her child had to undergo two blood transfusions. Describing the week as her most traumatic yet, the stylist highlighted how she maintained a strong front online while grappling with private struggles.
“Social media is not my reality,” Toyin noted, emphasizing the disparity between her online interactions and real-life challenges.
The experience brought her renewed appreciation for those who supported her during her past hospital stays, thanking her family, friends, and supporters for their unwavering care.
Toyin credited her faith and the grace of God for her daughter’s recovery, sharing a comforting verse from Psalm 121:7-8:
“The Lord will keep you from all harm; He will watch over your life. The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
Reflecting on the ordeal, she expressed gratitude for her daughter’s safety, stating:
“When the devil can’t get you, they start to target your children. Two blood transfusions, but we made it out. Lord, I’m grateful.”
