Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward Kylian Mbappe has said his “only option” is to stay at the club this summer. Mbappe informed the Ligue 1 champions in a letter last week that he will not sign a contract extension.
Since his current contract will terminate at the end of June 2024, PSG anticipates selling him this summer.
He appeared to have played his final match for the Ligue 1 winners, with PSG desperate to prevent him from leaving for free.
Mbappe was again asked about his future ahead of Les Bleus’ clash with Greece.
“I’ve already spoken about this, I’ve said that my objective is to stay at PSG, it’s my only option right now.
“I’m ready to come back for pre-season. Why go to the end of my contract? There is nothing to explain, people can talk,” he said.
